What should I wear?

Wear comfortable clothing. The goal is to relax while you are here.

Most of the areas I access are from the knees down and the elbows down, and sometimes the lower back. We provide blankets/sheets for draping if needed.

What is your training?

From 2005 – 2008, I attended NESA (New England School of Acupuncture) and graduated with a Masters in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine – MAOM. My license is from the Board of Registration for Medicine in MA – Lic.Ac.

I have studied and practiced Wu Ming Taoist Qigong since 2015. As a result, my understanding of the depth and reach of Chinese Medicine continues to expand. I use the concept of ‘oneness’ (everything is connected) and I look at the potential for health and wellness rather than focusing on illness and disease. My main book sources for ongoing learnings are the Tao Te Ching by Lao Tzu, The Zhuang Zi (the most famous Qigong Master) as well as the Huang Di Nei Jing Su Wen (the ‘bible’ of Chinese Medicine.)

Qigong is my daily training protocol. It enhances my own health, helps me better understand Chinese Medicine, and helps me understand my clients’ needs.

Do you use any other modalities besides acupuncture?

Yes, acupuncture is one modality of Traditional Chinese Medicine. When appropriate, to achieve the best outcome for the patient, I use other modalities such as Herbs, Medical Qigong, Moxa, Cupping, Guasha, Qigong exercises.
